Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

Oh yes, by small I meant they would need a cage not as big or expensive as a cockateil cage. And yes budgie and parakeets where I live are the same thing to me sorry. And the morrow thing yea I had a hamster who would put his paw against the mirror but I'm thinking birds are different because...

Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

    1. Yes I was talking about the cage being smaller than what a cockateil may have 2. I've heard about petsmart being not a good place to get animals but never evaluated it. I'm afraid the bird may be sick or not like human contact or may have another bird friend that if I separate them one will...

Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

Thank you!!!Parakeets need a smaller cage than cockatiels because the cockatiels are a but bigger. I wont rush into anything until I absolutley know I want one. Or i may wait until i have my own place to have a sperate room for them. This was very helpful. My room is already "dusty" so more dust...

Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

So it says I should get two parakeets since i would be in school most of the day. Do you think two would be okay for a beginner? Also I've heard bad things about petsmart and I know that place has parakeets but I was thinking getting young ones? Idk cause petsmart treats some of there animals...

Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

Yes that's what I was thinking. Since I'm a beginner I may start out with a parakeet and then as I get older I may go into cockatiels. My friend has 3 or 4 I forget but she has some left over cages.

Cockatiel and not being by the Kitchen

Okay thank you. I've been researching them because I love birds and I've always wanted a parrot. My only worry was the kitchen problem. I wont get one right away but probably when I'm older and can afford it. And yes I know the commitment, I have chickens as well😂. I do have 2 windows in my room...

My bedroom is by the Kitchen and well the kitchen is in the middle of the house so anytime we make food (were not good at cooking) the smells can be...
