    Chickencanoe has a point. The run seems easy to get in. Birds of pray have easy targets too this way. Strong netting might be enough to keep a lot of predators out. And around the bottom you need wire or heavy tiles to keep any diggers out.

    Can you put the small chick apart from the others in a separate setting with just one other chick? With heating of course. If the small one has less competition it’s easier to get to the food and grow. After several weeks of separation, two are easyer to integrate then one. Good luck.

    I didn’t read the whole thread but I think these chicks had problems starting their life the first days after hatching. It could be water, feed or cold. That I don’t know. I have experienced something similar 6 years ago with one chick. And it took a long time to figure out what was the reason...
