Thanks for the help. You confirmed my suspicions. Unfortunately I've gotten 3 confirmed roosters so far out of my 16 chicks. I was prepared for maybe two. Anybody else out there successful with a higher roo to hen ratio?

You're right. Pea comb. But the pics you posted looked more like a single comb. I've seen other EE's on here with single combs also. Some have said they lay more brownish colored or pinkish eggs.

I'm very new to this, but this kinda looks like a pullet EE with a single comb instead of a Rose comb.
