Just got a reply back that they are Cuckoo/Lavender Cuckoo, but you could easily cross that to your BBS birds if you so desired.

Sorry to get back on topic… I found the pictures, and it looks like they were Lavender and BBS (Barred or Cuckoo I can’t tell). The breeders name is Chris Cross and he is in Irving, TX. Apparently the best way to contact him is through Facebook. :)

Let me have a look and see where they were located for sure and you could contact them if you want. I remember the birds looked super nice, bar the white legs.

That makes a lot of sense. I wasn't even thinking about the brown eggs. When you said Easter Egger I assumed you weren't caring about green eggs.

I've been summoned, but I'm afraid I won't be much help on this one. There are for all general purposes (bar slate legs) Barred, Cuckoo, and Crele Ameraucana in existence already. It might be easier to find a breeder to ship you eggs. If you're just wanting to go for a fun backyard science...
