This is not always true. Since EE are a mix, all they need is a blue egg gene, and it doesn't matter where it came from. So they CAN have muffs, beard and pea come, but don't have to. If they're genetics includes a crested cream legbar, they can have crests and single combs... I knew...
Its too early for male or female specific saddle feathers. Those don't come in until their 12-13 weeks.
The come is suspect, but I don't see any rust or red on the wings, tbh. I'd give it another week or two and check back.
The size of that comb, the coloring, this looks like a cockerel to me. You should be getting in the saddle feather's soon on this one, that will tell you for sure.
You probably did, since there's black there. But that doesn't mean your bird is a cockerel. All birds of any gender that have black feathering will sheen black or even purple in the sun. My Black Jersey Giant hen sheens both purple and green.
Iridescence in black feathers means very little. All birds of all genders that have black feathers have iridescence. My black jersey giant hen is black that iridesses green and purple.
However, I think I see male saddle feathers starting to grow in, which tells me this is a cockerel.
