I do understand, I just was hoping the fact that they are laying and being productive would be enticing to the overlords to improve your coop. Ha ha. I love what you have done with the resources you have. And hey we all have learned a bunch and made changes the second time around.
Chicken , I have a question do the chicken lay eggs yet? Do they sleep( roost ) in the little coop? How much roost space inside there? I live in a cold climate so my hens sleep in a coop, so I was just trying to imagine your flock.
I'm wondering about so many dust baths? It does take up a lot of space . Also maybe keep your bins outside of coop. I love the roosts and signs on coop and you have done well with what you've done so far. You should be proud of yourself. .
I agree cause when they're stuck inside like they have been in this cold they're better behaved with some extra room in coop. I agree with the suggestion to make it a raised coop which increases run space and provides protection from elements for them.
