It’s nice to know that chicks can be hatched in a room below 70F. My power bill was twice as expensive last month, keeping the incubator room at 80F. My cat loved it though 😅

Yes Muscovy have sharp toenails which they can use to climb up fences and trees. Sort of like cat claws. Sometimes I take a toenail clipper and remove just the tips so they don’t scratch me when I pick them up 🥰
Would it be possible to design a shipping container based on a clear plastic egg carton placed inside a larger padded foil-lined box with Velcro or snap closures so that Customs officials can open the box, visually inspect the contents, then close the box? To skip having to x-ray it?

I have liner but didn’t know til you said this. Should I take out the turning rack now? And put liner on the grate at this point (peeps and pips but no zips)
or leave it alone???
