I didn't have them for the good winter layer part. As for ease if handling, 2 out of my 3 are the easiest to handle besides my polish out of the 50+ in their group
Birds that were developed in colder climates or that are made for commercial egg factories (sexlinks, white leghorns, that kind)
Pet bantams, like silkies, cochins, polish, sebrights. Anything with a big crest too, cause they can't run away well if they can't see
So.... is this for real, or just to cause anxiety with us? I'm still having a hard time figuring it out
Look into cavy if you are. Fast reproducers, similar to rabbits minus the vitamin c requirement and supposedly they taste good
