Do you have someone to help you with the construction and chicken care?

How do I keep the run dry

I am afraid that this construction is too low (ceiling) to install a roost as chickens need to have at least some 50 cm/ 20 inches of free space above their heads when sitting on the roost.

How do I keep the run dry

Ah, I see. This looks like just two nesting places, I do not see any roosts for the chickens to sleep on comfortably. Are there other parts of coop or is this all there is?

How do I keep the run dry

I just had a look at your other threads and posts and by the looks of the pictures you posted there, it seems to me as if you do house your chickens in this hut.

How do I keep the run dry

Doesn't this unhealthy set up smell rather mouldy and funky? Please, tell me that no animal has to live there.

How do I keep the run dry

On the left of the picture I see something like a wooden hut with a very wet door and I suppose with every rainfall this little hut will be standing in a pool of water...?

How do I keep the run dry

Is this a rain gutter that I see in your picture? If so, there will be no way to keep your little run dry unless you have this gutter prolonged to somewhere off site your run.
