We officially have daily crowing so now at 11 weeks it’s abundantly clear that Cookie is a mister. 😂 Coco has not changed much at all, so I’m sticking with pullet for her. Thanks again everyone who is so helpful in this thread!

Oh the plot thickens! Cookie is the sweetest of the bunch without a doubt. Gets picked up no less than 5 times every time we let them out by my boys and flies up on my shoulder to hang out when I go in the run. 😂 I keep thinking that signature red on the wings will show up any minute but maybe not!

As long as he’s nice to the ladies and my kiddos, absolutely!

Oh thank you so much for the input! I hadn’t come across any that looked like her yet! This is our first flock of 8 chicks. We got 4 straight run and I’ve got my fingers crossed we only have one cockerel. I was trying to take weekly photos of them individually and boy it’s getting pretty hard now!

This is a great thread. I think I have one of each, might I be right? They are 6 weeks old. Cookie is darker with the pink comb and Cocoa is more uniform in color and I can’t see much comb at all. I’m on the lookout for the red to come in on the wings, about what age does that happen?
