    Some do, some don't. They are ground birds by nature, so if you do include a ramp, try to make it as shallow as you can.

    That looks like quite a nice setup. The first couple times you move them, expect them to take a break from laying. As they get used to the routine, they will be less stressed by it and will take shorter breaks from laying or won't stop at all.

    Fallow means that I'm not growing anything in them at the time. My quail get to live on my garden beds during late fall and all winter, then get moved around my yard during spring and summer when I'm growing vegetables in them.

    Very nice! I move mine around on fallow garden beds too for the same reasons.
