Last night at 10pm it was 92 F. I didn't close the doors to the chicken coops and worried that a bear would come and eat them all. The coops were like ovens. There are roosts in the runs but the girls want to be in the coop for some reason. It's just too damn hot no matter when or where...

October 19 at 2:45 pm. It's 88 degrees, warm for October huh? I'm going to be selling at the Farmer's Market tomorrow and it's going to be 91 degrees according to the weather dude. Not a fun day, I hope I make lots of money to make up for it! :fl

October 17th, 2:30pm. It's 86 degrees, sunny and warm. Our low temperatures during the night are in the low 60's. Someday it will cool off here! It's called "Sunny California" for a reason! We need rain desperately. :cool:
