But out of those chocolates the males all died before a year two couldnt walk and the last just had heart issues. So that put me back farther in those as you need a cho male or a split male to get chocolates but finally got my chocolate male with my line mixed in it
Already tried broodies all those chicks are nothing but stunted everytime so will not use them again. And its what I get for adding orps i to my line. This is the third time trying to add lav with orp in it first two roosters used never bred one drowned the other disapeared so they are not smart...
I should of figured as three of the four needed help. Wont be doing that again if it cant hatch it can die in the shell helping never ends well they always end up dying anyways.
Well my lavender chick is dying so gonna be culling the other three and the parents been trying 4 years to get a lavender chick and now its all a waste of time so done with it just gonna stick to my mottles.
Well turns out it wasnt a double yolker egg just a big yolk lol did an eggtopsi on it other egg was fully formed just didnt hatch think it ran out of air in the aircell but other 4 are in the brooder now
They are dry and fluffy gonna move them to the brooder tomorrow but gotta evict the ones in my brooder they are 5 weeks old I think. I had to help the other zipped one to, my humidity is at 70 and they are still shrink wrapping
So far I had one hatch. One zipped then got stuck so I evicted it out and a few more pipped I cant seem to keep the humidity up. Usually 50-60 works well but not with these ones
My eggs go on lockdown tomorrow my double yolker was still alive on day 14 or 15 ill candle again if its still alive im wondering if the egg is just a big normal egg so either i will hatch 7/7 8/7 or 6/7 lol
