    The wings do not mean cockerel. My EE has the same wings, and considering she lays green eggs daily, she is definitely not a Rooster.

    My Barred rock just started laying, and her eggs are that light brown color. ..although, they do seem to be darkening... lol my Sexlinks are light to though.
