My duck run is covered with net. It did collapse the first year with heavy wet snow. Now I hit it with a wide squeege to knock the snow thru, when it gets heavy. But it will hold a duck! Lol

That’s what I tried to do. I guess I forgot the “pull up” part before the “pull down” part. I even felt it give! But the little pecker still got up and ran. I may try it again, but the 22 sure is easier.

I tried one from my bachelor pen this weekend. Did not go well. They fight like crazy, so I grabbed an instigator and pulled his head. Held him for a while, thought he was dead, laid him down and a minute later, he jumped up and ran from me! Oh lawdy! I finally got the job done, but it wasn’t...

The good news is the gravel helped the really muddy areas a bunch.

My yard is soggy too, and hubby drove the dump truck across it, carrying 3 tons of gravel....while it was soft. Nice indentations. :rolleyes:
