I use Virkon for everything, including the incubator. However, it's not a cabinet incubator. :oops: Metal "may" be an issue. Can't remember off hand. I'd probably lean towards using Chlorhexidine if I couldn't find out from the company. :confused:

Connie brings up very valid points. Not only in regards to the humidity issue but also the cleaning issue. I hatch in baskets to contain the mess. Being new to hatching...I'd suggest taking everyone's good advice over mine. :) Chances are you'll be more successful. ;)

Most people would advise against staggered hatching. It can be more challenging due to the humidity required at the different stages. The fact that you have shipped eggs will make this even more challenging. But, as someone who stagger hatches everything I set...it is possible. I stagger hatch...

I'm kinda late...but that's quite the news! Something not going right there...lol.

Can the instructions be looked up from the original company? They might have it on their site. I was able to find make, model and parts list on the old grain cart we bought. The gearbox needed to be replaced. The agricultural business we took it to hadn't been able to find that. :p

I still have a cement mixer and a lawn mower hoist that needs assembling here. :hmm

No assembly instructions? The business should be able to obtain those. Still an extra pain. :barnie Dh feels the same way. He wants it already assembled as well. When the business offered to assemble to two coops I wanted last year...he was saying YES! before I finished the sentence...lol.
