Sorry 10 out of 15 quail eggs

First chick hatched!

We candled put quail eggs on day 14... these are sort of the 2 different egg types we see...is the first one at all developing? We assume the second picture is? also congrats all those with hatchlings!!

I candled the eggs yesterday...so far we have growth!! In some quail eggs. Will be taking pictures 2 days from now on day 7! Excited!

Well...I think I found out why they were not developing. Maybe it’s because I did not let the eggs settle pointing end down for at least 12 hours...I did the opposite.

Nothing did start...what a bummer. I have no idea what went wrong though, the incubator seems clean and tidy. Everything seems to be functioning too. Is there anything else that may cause no development in the eggs?

I did that too, but it was from a hen that I did not see get mated...no growth. I decided to replace the eggs. Good thing today is the last day to join the hatch a long! Hope for the best!

How would I calibrate it? It seems to be functioning though. The temperature is high enough too. Could opening the incubator on day 4 and 3 cause the eggs to not develop? We never saw any growth, but saw our rooster mate the hens a few days before.

Sad...today is day seven and I see no development in all the eggs. I don’t know what went wrong?! Here are pictures. I see no veins at all, should I replace them?

If I incubate quail eggs tommorow. On the 20th could I still participate for quail?

We just got our quail eggs in! If we incubate them tommorrow will that be allowed in the hatch along

Did anyone experience a power outage during a hatch before?

We just got power after the power outage. Hope the eggs are okay!!

I don’t think we could cause we have dogs and I don’t want them to pull/ tug anything down

Yep but you have to open the cat entirely to fill water. That sort of rattles the eggs
