56F and cloudy this morning. Oddly the trees are only just NOW starting to drop their leaves. Usually they are mostly down in August. Plus usually have the first light snow flurries in October. None this year. Last 3or 4 winters have barely had any "sticking" snow. I love to shovel snow...

Can't do any successful post hole digging, our home was built over a quarry area. As in you dig more than a few inches and you hear the loud screech of shovel on boulders. I mean boulders too heavy to lift out, - so just covered them back on. On the other hand our drainage is fantastic.

I figured out how to stop the snow here. Weeks ago, they were predicting more snow, I went out and bought 4-25 lb. bags of ice melter.. Haven't had snow or ice since. But Carrying the bags down to the basement really did a number on my dominant arm. I carried the bags one at a time down the...

I got my first covid shot (Moderna) March 3l, no problems. Have to get the second one April 28. If one thing hurts, all you have to do is make something else hurt, to take your mind off it. After I got the first shot, the outer door slammed on my other arm. That hurt enough to blot out...
