Flour and better than bouillon along with any pan drippings. Top it off with a 1/4 c heavy cream.

I prefer elderberry syrup. I use vodka and honey both to preserve and it’s not bad. Rough on the tummy if you have too much but we just have a shot each evening to boost our immune systems. At least that’s what we like to tell ourselves ;)

I’ve read the same. I honestly don’t really care for lard but tallow I do. Duck fat I haven’t tried before and the ghee I got I didn’t like. Maybe I should try making my own. BTW what’s the brand you found at Costco?

I use avocado oil for the most part. Why don’t you use vegetable oils? Do you make your own ghee?

I think it’s disgusting. Chicken fat is not something I care for
