Hi! Sorry I’ve been absent. So far, so good! The girls seem to be preferentially selecting the new feed pellets when they are mixed. I did see one or two blackish poops, so I’m keeping a close watch. Thanks for asking!

Here is a little update from about 15 minutes ago. 5 minutes later the rain returned and they went back in, but at least they got a mini excursion!

I ordered the Nutrena. I hope the girls like it! Roxy has had severe intestinal reactions to change in feed in the past (bloated, bleeding intestines that resulted in severe anemia), so I’ll be careful when I incorporate it.

H I have used clippers and they are very effective, but I have cut quicks four times! Poor girls. And that’s without taking off much.
