I currently have hens Angela, Selena and Meg and Peg (look like twin Olive Evers). My chicks are Elizabeth, Gena, Ingrid, Prissy and Rita. Prissy is a bantam Dominique and reminds me of Prissy in the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons.

I named my button quail plant names. My favorite two girls were Fern and Ivy. I also had a Rose And an Eleanor ( from LOTR lore). My males were Willow and Ash.

I let the girls tell me their names. I have Selena, an Austra White, Angie. A red toned Lakeshore egger and the Twins Meg and Peg, also Lakeshore eggers. As chicks, they looked identical. Now, they are similar but distinctly different.
