No idea, I've not dealt with these type of mites before so not sure what the dosage is or how to apply it. Might want to re-post your question on the emergency/disease forum since more eyes are looking at health related questions there.

Looking around online, it looks like ivermectin or sulfur (which I linked above) are recommended for depluming mites. But I haven't dealt with those types of mites before.

What type of mites, do you know? You could try Elector PSP (spinosad) https://www.elanco.us/products-services/poultry/elector-psp - more pricey but some folks have great results from it. Or look into elemental sulfur...

Ideally you want it set at an angle, so one side is higher than the other. The high side should be roughly tall enough so chicks can touch it standing up, and low side should be roughly low enough so chicks can touch while sitting down.
