Today was really productive :-D A friend came over and helped me get two nest boxes built and hung off one side of the coop... So I thought I'd share some pics... It isn't painted or trimmed out, and I have to put roofing on tomorrow... but it is functional-- now to just get the girls to lay on...

Yeah.... I am still researching that :-) but they sure are pretty ;-) the feathers are all one color and so light it gives the illusion you are touching a cloud..... On a good note, EVERYONE is included in the chick pile tonight.... Last night they were separated into two piles, tonight it is...

I don't know... I've never had EE's but they are very sweet....and seem to have quiet personalities.... Right now my mixed flock of 14 chicks(5-12 wks old) is still adjusting to each other.....

My new pullets... I couldn't get a pic of the second black/wheaten cross.... She was snuggled in the back for a nap

I finally got some time to use the computers at school so I thought I would share a cool story about Dash the rooster and my new chicks from the vancouver show..... So, after bringing home my 4 ameraucana pullets from the show, I left them in a dog crate in the chick pen to get safely...
