    Help with single hatchling chick.......

I have a chick that hatched yesterday and no one is taking responsibility! I have one rooster so that part is obvious, however, it was my 2 guinea hens that became the broody nannies. Weak Chick with Umbilical Cord

I ordered 7 chicks from Mt. Healthy Hatchery, and they hatched either on 4/2/2022 or early 4/3/2022. They shipped on 4/3/2022, and I just received them today, 4/5/2022. They all are happy and healthy, except the extra chick, that Mt. Heathy included as a 2% margin for any chicks that might...

    Exposed yolk sac

This little guy just hatched out and I’m not sure how to handle the exposed yolk sac. I couldn’t find info online or on YouTube so I am lost. It is acting fine but I don’t want to put it with the others as I assume they will peck the yolk sac. Any help would be most appreciated.
