I ordered pastel call duck eggs and ancona call duck eggs. I hatched three and it looks like I got a purebred white call and one pastel. However, I can’t tell what this other duck is!!!!! (his name is Chuck)
Morning
I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything I need to know about saddle air sacks, please? It seems my eggs have them. They seem to be progressing fine (day 14 today)
They were postal eggs and from what little I have found on the Internet, saddle air sacks are common for postals...
Im hatching call duckling, but they are not hatching. 1/3 of the ducklings hatched on day 28 and it is now day 32, I’m unsure if they are moving. I did candle them day 29 and I didn’t see anything wrong, I saw veins and the big air sac. I’m worried, should I assist? Is it possible they’re not...
I’ve been hearing peeping from the duck inside but I’m not sure what this dark spot is? Is that where she is pipping? It’s not where they usually hatch from so is she oriented wrong?
I’m on the hunt to find someone who sells white calls or Ancona calls near Missouri. Many places I’ve found sell the minimum of 6 eggs or don’t sell ducklings under 4 weeks old. If you guys know anyone who will ship like 3 eggs or are close to Missouri please help
Hello!
Would really appreciate some feedback and advice as I'm really nervous and worried about my first incubation. I have double and triple checked advice and information online to make sure everything goes smoothly, but I'm still worried. Anxiety is nasty!
