My husband is fluent and can translate back & forth. One of his degrees is in spanish. His family is from Spain.

Had a perfect score in Spanish three... But I'm not fluent. [IMG] I could help if you had no one else.

I notice that when i try and use the online translators they all come up with different answers...

I am writing to one of the families that we met while on vacation in cuba. Is there a difference between the spanish they speak in cuba, to the spanish they speak in mexico, and in spain?

Definitely!! My son is in Spanish III right now. His teacher teaches "Spain" spanish. When he needs help w/his assignments, he calls his dad, who is Venezuelan, who of course disagrees with the version the teacher uses...lol. It was the same years ago when I took a spanish class from a lady from Chile. The point is, spanish is used differently in different places (although it's close enough for people to communicate)...
