I have two chicks that are growing at a rate of almost double they’re other brooder mate. Their feathers also aren’t as fluffy and instead of five toes they have four. I know they can still be true silkies with only four toes. It doesn’t matter either way, just curious to what everyone’s best guess is 😊

Those do not look like silkies or silkie mixes. They don't appear to have any silkie traits, they don't even appear to be bantams. I'm not sure what they are, cute though.
All the other chicks are 5 toed except these two. They all started about the same rate but these two are almost twice as big as all the others now. I’m not sure what they are either. Guess we’ll see once they’re a little older :)

Thank you! They really are adorable and have such little personalities. I don’t think they’re bantams as they’re already pretty big compared to the others
Aye they really don't look like bantams to me either, hopefully you'll be able to get a better idea as they grow! A lot of chicks that will end up black as adults are that color, those little cuties kind of remind me of black australorps or black jersey giant chicks. I don't have enough experience with anything but silkies to be able to guess very well though!
