Welcome to my world Banty, nearly 400 chicks 2 years ago, last year with my broke hip, I was down to 240....my feed bill looks like the national debt!Yes... but not enough to house 200.
They have to stay somewhere in the interim, and besides, feed for 200 birds would be well over my yearly feed budget!
I'm not normal! 30 eggs would be 1 days collection! Not all at once silly.
You will hatch in batches of 30 like normal people do.
Setting Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning if everything ships as planned. The eggs are shipping out on Saturday, should get here Tuesday
And you claim sanity! I'm a small time hatcher. Y'all are the crazy ones.Welcome to my world Banty, nearly 400 chicks 2 years ago, last year with my broke hip, I was down to 240....my feed bill looks like the national debt!
I helps to be a "bird brain" but if your raising pheasants, it's too hard to just limit yourself to a messily 30 chicks! And you claim sanity! I'm a small time hatcher. Y'all are the crazy ones.
I hear ya! I feel like a circus sideshow with all the "juggling" around I have to do!I believe I've only set about 350 eggs total. I just plain don't have the infrastructure to do large hatches. Brooder space comes at a premium here.
