Kiki style is at least once a day and multiple times a day during lockdown.

I don't do any candling during lockdown except when Kiki says I did last time and learned a lot

I actually just bought one and I could see a lot more than before. It's pretty amazing.

I actually prefer my phone flashlight for lockdown time.

Not yet! I actually haven’t ever bought quail. I’ve been getting them all through neighborhood trading. I’m really jonesing for some falb fees, but I’m trying to hold off til march at the earliest... We’ll see if I make it that long, haha

I broke my candler that came with my incubator. I accidentally dropped it on the floor, it was that or an egg. I got good flashlights because my husband almost got bit by a copperhead not long ago. His phone flashlight wasn't bright enough to catch it before it came after him. I'm sure it was looking for a chick

I normally only candle when I am moving the eggs from the incubator to the hatcher. If there is a rotten egg aroma coming from the incubator, I will make an exception to find the rotten egg and remove it.
