I made hats like that. I used the yarn they call cakes that change colors every so often. I did it for Christmas one year and now everyone wants more, but I threw out the looms

You can make the pom poms without the maker. I got an expensive pom pom maker and it was more trouble than anything. I learned on a YouTube video how to make them without the maker.

I usually just wrapped my hand, then tied & cut the yarn. Think I'll be going back to my tried & true method. Much easier!

I usually just wrapped my hand, then tied & cut the yarn. Think I'll be going back to my tried & true method. Much easier!

It's easier that way! The pom pom makers are a pain. They are more work than they're worth

My Jumbo White Quail eggs are finally on the move. Tracking says I should get them Thursday! So excited, I really hope I can get some to hatch! I'm going to try these out in my incubator that incubates upright, all the other quail eggs I hatched were in my incubator that incubates on their side. I'm getting these from a seller in Texas off of Ebay btw.
