i’m in the same boat you are.....i might find enough room to incubate that many but no way to brood that many chicks yet i don’t even like 60 eggs at one time!!

Are there good chick ID photos in this thread? Elsewhere that anyone uses or suggest? I’m trying to get an idea of what chick colors I may wanna keep out of my first hatch this week.

you can post pictures and we will help with ID......any we have trouble with, you can tag enthusiast because he has some colors that are different from the standard

white wing, rotkopf, red pansy, calico, wildtype, english white, true sparkly, black/ black tuxedo, celadon and others.

Never heard of some of these.

I find that its best to find out what the colors will look like directly from the person who made the color/sold them.

What one maker calls a certain color another maker of that color can look way different.

I set 103 eggs in the new brinsea. As a test I put 6 eggs I had in the fridge for a week in with the others. I currently have 43 in the NR360 since last Wednesday, and 103 in the big brinsea.

So far the brinsea uses very little water to maintain the humidity. I’m very happy with how easy it is. The large trays with the divider fit my eggs perfectly, 24 per tray, I have standard eggs, not jumbos. I can’t wait to see the results.
