⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

Wow, you are lucky! We have to take the bunny to the vet on Thursday. Due to the challenges of finding a good bunny vet, we are going to a clinic 45-60 minutes away. :hmm
  I’m sure it‘s worth it though!! We’re lucky that we have several exotic vets around here. One is about 25 minutes away according to Google (I really thought it was closer :lau ) and of course the Boston ones but actually, apparently the regular vet right down the street started seeing exotics recently  I’m not sure when but definitely relatively new. But they are way overpriced and kinda rude so we don’t go there :lau plus never needed an exotic vet.

My chinchilla vet is in the next town over. I'm so paranoid that I had a vet picked out for them before I even got my first chinchilla.

That’s not paranoid! That’s smart! I wish more people would do that. I’ve never needed one for mine thankfully but do have one lined up for the budgies if I ever did. Although I think the avian vet may have left Odd Pet Vet so not sure what I’d do.

That's not paranoid. That's smart. Most people, me included, don't even know that vets don't see every kind of animal until yours is sick and then you find out that you don't have anyone to take them to. When we got the chickens, I did the same thing in finding an avian vet. In fairness though, our vet practice used to have an exotic vet who we saw regularly even with out cats and dogs until she moved. We never really had to think about it because of that.
