I’m sure it‘s worth it though!! We’re lucky that we have several exotic vets around here. One is about 25 minutes away according to Google (I really thought it was closer ) and of course the Boston ones but actually, apparently the regular vet right down the street started seeing exotics recently I’m not sure when but definitely relatively new. But they are way overpriced and kinda rude so we don’t go there plus never needed an exotic vet.

There are a few other exotic vets closer but I am being picky

Except for the RHDV2 vaccine. I think that's just in California though.. Not sure yet

It is now available in CA but to the best of my knowledge is not required. It is not compulsory anywhere in the US as far as I know (although it is required in many other countries).

Ohhh okay that makes sense!! Gotta get the best for your babies!

I think the OPV one is a pretty good one/reputable around here but not sure if they have an avian vet anymore.

Tad's vet is much closer but she specializes in reptiles. I specifically want someone that is experienced with surgery on rabbits. It is a delicate operation and I don't want to lose him. So I did my homework

That’s totally understandable!! Some are definitely better at stuff than others! I think this particular one sees a lot of reptiles and rodents but not sure.

I haven't roached his mane in probably 7 years. He cleans up nice though.
