I’m glad your all safe. I’m really sad to know of at least 70+ folks died last night from the tornado(es).
On a scientifically serious note:
With the improvements in Doppler and other radar tech have been talked about this “very likely” being a single tornado the kept regenerating for some 200-300+ miles…
There is also some legit dialogue on the comparison to a few other “out of season” tornadoes from as far back as I thought I read 1925?
One detail floated is something I am very curious towards = the previous history “multiple tornado” storms in the past might have also been, like last nights storm a single, regenerative tornado.
Because of how strong this storm was from creation throughout the night.
