I haven't personally eaten call ducks but the little teal ducks certainly were as good as the bigger mallards. the key was in what they were eating.

I believe that @shawluvsbirds enjoyed the drake she ate. I believe it was a revenge dinner.

Yep. I liked it. But I don't have much to compare it to it was my first time eating duck. We had some shoveler duck too, I liked the shoveler better than the call but the call had been in the freezer a while so it may have been a little freezer burnt.

Butter definitely goes with cooked fruit but I would not put it on fresh fruit.

It kinda taste like this stuff my friends mom made.. I don't know what it's called but it had cream cheese in it and I dipped grapes and strawberries in it. It was really good.
