Make sure you chicken wire off the ceiling right away so they don’t have access to the rafters or you will have projectile poop running down all 4 walls.

My guineas roost on the rafters. Every morning there is a line of fresh droppings under each rafter. By the end of the day they have it all redistributed.

You’re lucky. I think mine were having pooping contests up there & giving themselves terrible bumble foot jumping down.

@FrankieDoodle has become pretty efficient at removing/treating the bumble.

No problems with the guineas getting down. They don't jump down, they fly down. They really like flying down when the door is open and they can sail for 40' to 60'.
