I did not know that.

I just assumed that radial had more capacity, was more attractive to people who had several hives and had a lot of honey to harvest.
Had to really weigh pros and cons on what I want and what I need. I ordered the VEVOR 3 frame, accepts 3 deep, medium and shallow, electric. As I don't see me having any more than 5 hives with an average of 80 lbs per hive, this will do what I need. Looking at the various companies it appears they're stamped out by the same factory (CHINA) with different colors and logos slapped on them. My manual was a VEVOR which I had no problems with just the time turning the handle. It is tangential but if I run at slower speed grid on comb will be minimal. $258 direct from VEVOR, $216 with Daughter's AMAZON PRIME.

We have the Vevor 4/8 electric from ebay. $214 plus tax, so I think around $230. We've been very happy with it.

It's going to get a lot colder before the winter is over.
We've only been down in the 20's a couple of nights so far. Looks like it will be in the upper 20's overnight for the next week. Then back in the 30’s.

The coldest we've ever been is -10.
