Yeah, well panicked a little last and called TSC (not my store) and they said they were sold out of chicken food, so I was relieved to hear my store has plenty of stock.

On Sat. here in NJ the local TSC was out of wild bird feed and had limited supplies of everything else.

Is NJ doing a shelter in place too?

So far travel is not being restricted. Restaurants can serve take out food only, bars are closed, last night there was a proposed 8 PM to 5 AM curfew, but I think that was voluntary. Princess just got back from picking up prescriptions and getting gas. Costco appeared normal so she gave that a try. There was no pork or chicken, beef was limited to steaks, bakery was normal, and vegetable supply was normal. All in all she said food supply was about at 2/3 of normal. Oh yeah, and she got toilet paper. :lau We're eating lunch and then going for a walk in our township park as the rain has stopped.

DH went to the feed store on sunday just to get our normal stuff. The woman there said its been insane with people hoarding stuff. She keeps telling people they get new shipments in every 2-3 days & to relax, but they're in a frenzy. They own the dog/cat food store in the same parking lot & she said the store is empty. She said people were buying like 10 bags of dog food at a time.

I havent been to PetSmart yet to see how the rodent & amphibian food shelves are holding up.

That's a positive sign. :thumbsup

So far there have been no diagnosed cases in our county. People have probably pretty much stocked up on essentials as the weekend was insane. I am curious to see if the Amish market is open on Thursday. No information indicating otherwise on their web site - yep, they have a web site. I'll also go to TSC on Thursday just to check out the situation there.

Dang! I worry for those people!

All of our farmers markets are closed except the one closest to me. As of today that one is still a go for Saturday morning, but I expect that to change at any time.

DD1 texted one of the vendors she normally shops at to order stuff (to be picked up hopefully this Saturday) & paid her thru Venmo so neither of them have to touch any filthy cash. Brilliant!
