This is a old cookbook of Washington county Wisconsin ladies.
Pioneer molasses
Bake at 375 12 minutes
6 c flour
3 Tsp of soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 melted butter or shortening
1 c boiling water
1 c dark molasses
1 c Sugar

Yes mix wet then add dry a bit at time.
I use my kitchen aid mixer.

Over your side cold, over my side is hot.

We are going to get warmer, some days are dry heat like today, some day is just high humidity and that will come with heavy rain and storm.

I do understand that I spent the first 8 years in Wisconsin.
Weather was allot like you have it.
Moved here Western Washington in 68.
Heck of allot milder here, more rain allot at times.

Good morning Sin Bin cold enough here had a hard time warming up this morning.

It’s been around 0 degrees every morning this week in the North of England. My teeth were chattering as I cleaned my with my electric toothbrush - a bit like a horse champing at the bit I may need a new toothbrush come spring

My sin today is eating waaaaaay too many of the banana chips I'm making. Of course, I have to eat a test piece to see if they're done. And of course there are a few that I cut too thickly, and they aren't done, but wow, are they tasty. Then there are the butt ends of the banana that make really weird looking pieces; since these are for Christmas presents, I can't have those in there, can I? Of course not.

Ate four Krispy Kreme donuts yesterday - sinfully good.

We can only get mine they are 75 miles from us.
