We purchased these lovely ā€œpulletsā€ on 3/24/22 from TSC. Two were listed as Easter Egger pullets and one was listed as lavender wyandotte pullet. Only one has began to crow (wonder if you can guess which one). This one also picks on our 3 week old chicks we have as well. Do I have two cockerels or only one?

A look back at when we first brought them home. Still full of fluff.

Oh no, I started out with 4 and lost one. I was hoping the other two were pullets because we canā€™t have roos per HOA. šŸ˜”. We picked up 4 more straight runs (2 EEs and 2 bantams). What are the chances I get 3 cockerels out of the 4 listed pullets?

I'm so sorry. Unfortunately that's the gamble you take with straight run. I would go ahead and start trying to rehome them now. Sometimes it can take a while.

Post pics of the 4 new chicks when they're around 6 weeks old and we will help you with those.

Iā€™m out cleaning their brooders. They are quite camera shy. Iā€™m betting that there is at least one cockerel here. šŸ¤£
