1 1/2 week old chick with crooked toes - can I still splint?

    Just noticed today that one of my chicks has crooked toes... I know that most people seem to make the shoes for them when they are a day or two old, is it too late for me to help this chick? She/he will be 2 weeks old on Saturday.
