One of my chicks has had a "wet" vent the last two days. She's eating normally and active. It also looks like her vent may be protruding some. She pooped ok after I rinse her off (while blow drying) and her poop seems a little big and hard to me, though she had no trouble doing it. Can a big poop cause a wet butt? Not pasty at all. They are eating medicated chick starter, have grit, and the only "treats" they've had is some scrambled eggs, which they go nuts for. They are on Pine shavings. I added some ground up oats today, originally thinking maybe she was having diarrhea, then she pooped and it was the opposite. The first pic is before washing, the second is after washing, where you can see her vent better, and the third is the size of her stool.
