1 grey eye in my polish girl

    Hi, dolly 1 of my polish girls seems very lethargic and also has a normal red eye but the other is grey. I'm hoping that she's just blind in one eye, and that it's not mareks virus. Can anyone help?

    A picture would really help. If the pupil is grey or cloudy, then that may be a cataract from an infection or injury. If the pupil and iris are both grey, then that might be Mareks. Ocular Mareks is only one of the four types of Mareks, and only some chickens get that type. Here are a couple of links to read:

    Thanks for your help, I will get a photo and send it on. It is a white color but it only covers the iris and not the whole eye, but pretty simualar
