I am supposed to meet a very kind lady this afternoon because she has graciously agreed to take my 5 broad breasted bronze chicks 9 (1wk old) and 1 guinea (also 1 wk old). I did not realize when I bought the turkeys (I meant to buy 6 - somehow I ended up with a guinea) they were really meant for eating not as pets. Well, she has a HUGE farm where they will be able to free roam and have a good life.
She has also agreed to take some of my baby golden laced sebrights and japanese black tailed white bantams (they are about a month old). I wanted to give her a rooster and maybe a hen or two of each one, but I have no idea how to determine the sex.
Does anybody have any ideas? I don't want to give her all roosters!! Any knowledge appreciated
