1-Month Old Chicks Roosting with the Big Birds :)

I have a special brooder I keep my chicks and mamas in but I let them out during the day. Tonight after looking all over for them I finally checked my main coop- and here's what I saw!

The roost is 36" off the coop floor and the coop is 30" off the ground to start with- so they had to get up both of those. It's amazing the little critters could get up there. I guess Mama must have shown them the way!

That's what broody mamas do!
It's a big difference from the brooder raised chicks, who have to learn on their own, and take longer.
