10 Brown Orpington Eggs out of my pen of one Black Orp Roo and 3 Brown hens.
I will update the number of eggs as I get them. 2 more added moments ago, today!

Call these Chocolates,Dun,Brown,Fudge,Dirt,Poop color, makes NO difference to me. lol

They ARE pure Orpingtons, the color popped up out of a line of orps I had a couple years ago.

Not a great pic, but you can get the general idea of the Black Orp Roo:

    Ok Folk`s,

I`m NOT going to tell you these are the Chocolate Orps that are becomeing popular lately, simply because I have absolutely NO idea if they are. And honestly I don`t know enough about the whole Choc Orp thing to make any type of claim that mine are the true Choc Orps that are commanding SOOOO much money now.
I will simply tell you that from my experience with MY birds that some hatch out brown and remain brown till they are grown, others are more "blackish".
Let`s just consider these Brown birds as a color for new and exciting color variations of Orpington`s. Fun,fun, fun!!!!! [IMG] [IMG]
    Thanks!
