Ok, finally fed up with my vocal guineas. I have 10 mixed varieties of guineas free to someone in the Louisville/southern indiana area. They are loud for me and I would rather have some nice quiet laying hens. If you have some laying hens/pullets to trade that will work too.

I would rather give them as a set since guineas mate for life.

    Come and get em! [IMG]

Ahh, I can't do that. I am vegetarian.

Now, a fox got to one of our pullets last year and we ate her but I didn't have a direct hand in her death and the fox had already killed 3 other pullets so he got his share. I would rather not give them to someone who would eat them. They are useful as insect control.

I don't want to knock the meat eaters, I am just sayin'.[IMG]

MAN I WISH YOU WERE IN IOWA!!! I have about 30 and just love the noisey bug eaters!!! I cant wait to get more eggs to hatch this spring. I will sell my eggs but want to get different colors to add to my flock. They are such a hoot to watch too. I hope you find good homes for them! JEnn

Guineas are going to their new home today. They had started to not want to go into the chicken coop at night and I lost two of the ten. I am getting grape vines in return. I think it is a pretty good trade.[IMG]
