4.4 cubic feet cabinet type homemade incubator. False back, light and fan on top blowing into false back. 1/2" hardwood plywood. Is one 100 watt bulb going to be enough?

Quote:There are just too many varibles to answer that .Temp of room its going to be in ? how much heat does fan motor put out?and the list goes on.Try it , go up or down in wattage or go with 2 bulbs .I got one about that size but it made out of small fridge (well insulated) 100ws is way too big.1-- 25w and 1-- 15w work great....cva34

Ideally I would put in TWO bulbs. ONe to be always on, the second as an on/off cycle. THen if one fails you will not loose the hatch.

    Just a thought.
