Hi,
I have 2 BPR who have been very happy together since egglings! one of them lays everyday without fail... the other may lay two a week....they have been confined to their run and house for the last week, their run is a decent size with grass plenty of shelter etc etc..they were totally free range for a while because thats how i would like them to be, they are in the run until lunchtime, then let out to free range, but i needed to sort out just how many they are not laying. in this last week she has only laid one egg..
Eggs that are laid are mostly in the house within the nesting boxes, but sometimes outside on the ground. good quality eggs, no soft shells etc.
They are fed a Happy hen free range feed, with oyster grit extra, ad lib food and water..some kitchen scraps.
Any ideas please?
Thanks.
