This one has stumped us. We have 3 other chicks which all came out roosters. They had brighter red combs early, stance, and roo behavior. However, this one was more laid back (at first). At this point, it is exactly 11 weeks old. Hard to get good shots, as it moves quickly (more like a roo), but hasn't shown the roo saddle feathers as I would think it would by this age. No crowing- still cheeping. Does like to spar with other hens.

See those shiny feathers on the back? Those are his saddle feathers coming in. He's all boy.

That's ok. He has been rehomed to a family that wanted new blood with their Easter Eggers. I'm hoping he is doing well.
